The popular ride-hailing and delivery startup Bykea has started a wonderful new program on June 16, 2026, to help its drivers and riders switch to electric motorcycles.

What is the Problem? The price of petrol and gas has been going up and down, making it very expensive for people who use their motorcycles to earn a living every day.

The New Solution: Bykea is now allowing its registered riders to lease brand new electric bikes. The riders pay a small amount every week, and Bykea takes care of all the maintenance and battery charging.

Why It Is Great: Charging an electric bike with electricity is much cheaper than filling a tank with petrol. This means the riders get to keep more of the money they earn from delivering food and giving rides, while also helping to keep the city's air clean and smoke-free.
