Election Commission Announces Dates for Special Voting to Fill Empty Parliament Seats

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the dates for special elections, known as by-elections, to fill five empty seats in the National Assembly.
Why Are There Empty Seats? Sometimes, a member of parliament has to leave their job before their time is up because they get a new job, pass away, or their previous election is canceled by a judge. When this happens, the seat becomes empty and needs a new leader.
What Happens Next: The ECP will set up voting booths in those specific areas so the local people can choose a new representative. This ensures that every community in Pakistan always has a voice in the national parliament to speak up for their needs.
