The semiconductor powerhouse's American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) commenced trading on the Nasdaq under the provisional ticker symbol SKHYV, opening at $170 before ascending to close at $168.01. This signifies a roughly 13% surge from its $149 offer price, cementing its status as the most significant first-time listing by a foreign company in U.S. history.

The offeringgenerated a massive $26.5 billion, eclipsing the prior record held by Alibaba. The comprised 177.9 million ADRs, with demandreaching seven times the available shares.
